Vicky Chowdhury

grew up in Brookville, Ohio, then lived in Southern California for twenty-five years. After missing the quiet country lifestyle, she moved back to Ohio to enjoy the beauty of its four seasons, although she wishes winter was a bit shorter. She’s been happily married to a wonderful man for thirty-five years and they are proud of their two grown sons. She also loves animals, nature, and is a two-time breast cancer survivor.

Vicky has always loved art. She’s expressed creativity throughout her life, from making jewelry, etching ostrich eggs, and writing and illustrating a children’s book My Secret Closet. But she never tried painting until a friend gave her some encouragement, so she bought a canvas and some acrylic paint. After three years and over fifty paintings, she’s enjoying her midwestern life with a brush in hand.
